Fabric and My Cricut : My first experience

Happy Friday friends!!!!

   I hope everyone is having a fun filled Crafting day!!! I am! My friend Cindy is over for our weekly Friday crafting session. Whoo hoo!! Time to have some crafting fun! Before I leave you and  figure out what to make I wanted to share what I worked on yesterday.

   A friend of mine had mentioned that she was going to paint Mickey heads on t-shirts for a bday party.  While she was telling me, my little lightbulb turn on in my head and I thought "wait a minute! I could use my cricut to cut the fabric and do it for her!" So I told her that I could do it and she brought the t-shirts to me this past tuesday.

This is what my living room looked like while I was working on the shirts all day yesterday.

I was very happy! My first time was a success!!! YAY

Here are some quick instrictions on what I did:
1. Iron on Steam A Seam 2 to fabric.
2. Use a SUPER DE DUPER sticky mat
3. Place fabric side on mat
4. Cut your image on flip mode
5. Use the deep cut blade setting at 6
6. Speed low
7. Pressure high

Back 2 School

Hi my friends!!

   I hope everyone has had a great Friday! I've spent it crafting with one of my BFF's Cindy! Having a blast with her here! =)

   For today's post I decided to make a Back 2 School card for my little brother. This is his last year of junior high! I can't believe how time is flying. I have always felt as if he was my son because I pretty much help with his upbringing. So with each new milestone in his life my heart skips a beat and I feel super happy this 13 year old is doing well. I love him to death! Awwww <3

   Since this is his last year, I want him to know that he will always be the #1 student, in junior high and all his school years! This card is meant for him to remember that each and everyday! I want him to know that his big sister is counting on him to become the best he can be!

    The colors I used on this card represents the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is our favorite baseball team, so I wanted to incorporate that in.

Welded the shape together to get shaped card.

Added buttons, doodling, and Stickles for a little
sumthing sumthing!

For today's project I decided to make my first HALLOWEEN project of the year!! Well, with the help of Raven Baca =) Thanks for bringing Halloween to mind! =)

Let me tell you I am super de duper happy to get started. I made a sign for my front door. I will be using it this year and I'm so happy with how it came out that I want it to be October already!!! LOL YAY I'm a huge Halloween fanatic!!! Are you!!! I love decorating and dressing up!!! Hmmm....What to be this year? =)

   For todays project I decided to create for the very first time 3X3 cards to give out as either "Thinking of you, or Thank you" cards!! Wow this sure was a challenge. Since I could only work on a 3x3 base, my cuts were extremely small!! Thank the craft lords for Zig two way and tweezers!!!

Princess Theme Blog Hop

Good morning my fellow crafters!!

  Welcome to my blog, I hope everyone is having a fabulous Saturday!!! I am so super excited for this blog hop. Sylvia at bellascrapbookdesigns is hosting this fun blog hop dedicated to all the princesses out there!! Thank you so much Sylvia for asking me to participate in this hop with you alongside so many talented crafters!

   For this hop I decided to make my niece a banner for her new room. Just this week she mentioned she likes skulls?!! Yes my 6 year old princess pink loving niece loves skulls. So skulls is what she got.  You might be thinking SKULLS??? I thought this was a princess theme hop??? Yes, you are right!! The carts I used for this hop was ROCK PRINCESS, ONCE UPON A PRINCESS, and ALPHALICIOUS!! Rock Princess is where the skulls came from. =)

   Oh, I forgot to add my niece tells me that her name ALYSA means princess. So I thought this was exceptionaly perfect for this hop!
