CH #24 POOH FONT Flaunt It Fridays

Happy Friday my Friends!!




I hope you have all had a great week. I had a pretty busy one. I am so glad the weekend is finally here!! Tomorrow I am  going to walk in the March of Dimes charity walk. I am accepting donations to support this important cause. Any amout helps so many families. If you would like to donate please click on the link on the side bar. Since it is Friday, that means it's another FIF post and for this week's challenge we were asked to use the POOH FONT cartridge and the cut choice this week is the Tigger and ducky on Page 61! You can create anything you want and for an extra challenge try to challenge yourself to create something different from last week's project. If you do not own this cart feel free to use any similar cut from any cartridge, you have one week to enter the challenge.


Here is a little inspiration. I came up with a twisted easel card. This card was so fun to make!! I absolutely love it. I am expecting some stamps in the mail soon =) Once I receive them I will stamp my CONGRATULATIONS sentiment on the inside of my card. My friend's babyshower coming up in 2 weeks. CH#23 HAPPY HAUNTINGS Friday the 13th Blog Hop

Hello my friends!!!


    Welcome to the Flaunt it Friday's  Friday the 13th Blog Hop! I am so super sorry for posting so late. As many of you probably know Blogger has been out of service and we were not able to post to our blogs.

 I am just getting home from a Picketing here in Downtown LA. Many school districts got together to Picket budget cuts here in California. This blog hop came at the perfect time because I was able to create invitation to the parents in my class using this cut. The invitations were to join us teachers to picket. Surprisingly 9 of the families in my class joined me. I was so super happy. Well enough of that onto our hop!!!

You should have arrived here from Corri's blog, if not click Here to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything. The challenge this week is to use the Friday the 13th cut from the Happy Haunting cartrdge.

This is the invite I made all the families in my class. This cut worked perfect
thanks to the date! Super simple but made for a good cause!

Here is a picture frame I made for my class room. I took pictures of my kids and I and will use this frame toshowcase them.

I used the colors of our union and added bling for pizzaz
and some fun button. It has a magnetic strip on the back so I can hand it on my white board.

Disney Blog Hop

Good morning my Amigas!! (friends)

   Welcome to the My Blog and the Disney Blog Hop. If you have come from Lisa's blog. You are in the right place. If you are just visiting my Blog and want to play along, you can do so by starting at Sylvia's blog http://www.bellascrapbookdesigns.blogspot.com/.

For this blog we were asked to create anything with a Disney Theme. I was excited for this hop because as many of you know I am a Disney NUT!!! Sadly, I haven't visited Disneyland since April 1st, because of my no life schedule (LOL) but I am crossing my fingers to make it out there next friday!! I'm going crazy, I need Mickey in my life!!! =)

Well enough of my babbling let's get on to the hop. For my creation I created Disney rainbow word flash cards. What is a rainbow word flash card you ask? Well my niece is in Kindergarten and they learn a total of 80 high frequency words throughout the year. They group the words by tens and group them in a color. The first color the teacher assigned was the red words. These are your basic: the, is, at, here, my etc. I made her a set of red rainbow word cards with Daisy as the main Character. She is absolutely going crazy for these.

I will definitely have to laminate them so they can last us forever. Here you go:

Cinco De Mayo Blog Hop!!!

Good Morning to all!!!

 Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!! I am so excited for today. I get to wear a shirt my sister bought for me in Mexico to work. My students are going to perform the Mexican Hat Dance. It should be fun!!

I am so super excited to be part of it. If many of you don't know the history behind Cinco De Mayo here is a little info for you from Wikipedia:

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over Frenchforces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. It is celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and in the United States. While Cinco de Mayo sees limited significance in Mexico itself, the date is observed nationwide mostly in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. "Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican holiday—it is anAmerican Civil War holiday, created spontaneously by Mexicans and Latinos living in California who supported the fragile cause of defending freedom and democracy during the first years of that bloody war between the states." Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day, the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico.
